I have been dying to get this game since announced in march...i always thought this was a good idea even before it came to be, i couldnt shut up to my friends about it. I know its not the fault of Harmonix but i have to say ive never been this dissapointed. I pre-ordered rock band months ago so waiting for it to come out has been torture. Finally I get mine home yesterday and 1 hour into it my drums stop working...no power what-so-ever. Im a little dissapointed at this point as this is what i was most excited about. None the less I order a replacement and find that it should be here relatively fast. I can deal with this knowing i can just play the strat i love and unlock songs for the next few days. Well i play it for under 2 hours today and my downstrum stops working. Now i have no guitar and no drums and it looks like i have to order a replacement for that now too. Im sorry but i dont think i should be considered a whiner or anything like that, I do not think that i should spend 180 dollars on something and basically have the entire thing not work right out of the box. It's just very dissapointing for the fact because i want to play it so bad still, its and awesome game and you all did a great job. I just dont understand how things like this happen...especially two major components of the game. Waiting impatiently for my replacements...for what its worth you made a hell of a game...I JUST WANT TO PLAY IT!

Yeah I honestly can't see how most of the instruments passed quality assurance. I love the instruments and none of mine are broken but the guitar feels really cheap, my strum is super just wobbly no bounceback from it at all but it works perfect, beat every song in the game on expert with it no problems. The only thing I dislike is the strumbar not having any cushion on mine it just wobbles around. How do you make ALL these guitars and stuff and sell them knowing they are gonna break like instantly? I'm sure they outsourced the work to some asian company to make all the instruments and they just did it extremely sloppy.

I have been playing this game for hours on end all week. The only issue I have is that the guitar that came with RB doesnt activate over drive properly... but my to other GH models do.

YOu all cant expect a perfect launch... **** happens. Just report the issues to EA, get replacments so they know where they made thier mistakes and can stop future occurances. Thats the risk you take buying a game like this on luanch dates... we are all test tubes for the companies involved.

So you're saying that we're not important to EA or Harmonix and that it's perfectly fine that they would sell us faulty games for almost $200.00 and that we shouldn't complain about it? We're not BASHING them or anything, we're just saying we're upset because we've been fans for a while and we spent a lot of money on this game and it's turned out to be a little bit of a let down.

This is serious, a lot of people are having this problem, even the new Game Informer magazine reported that their drum kit didn't work when they got it, and they had to have it replaced. They're supposed to have a full review of this game next month, hows it gonna look when they review it and say "well it would've been fun but our equipment didn't work." People are going to read that and it's gonna look bad.

Just because YOUR equipment works doesn't mean it's not a problem, they can't release something to the public and then just shrug it off when everyone's equipment breaks within the same day they bought it. "Oh your controller doesn't work? Sorry that's your fault for buying the game."
Yeah thats GREAT for business.

Atleast the customer service is great. They're doing the best they can to correct the problem. What else can you ask of them?

I'm not comlaining, i got the little pink slip with my game telling me what to do if if breaks, I'm waiting for my replacement now. I've been using the GH3 controller.

I wonder just HOW busy they are on thanksgiving weekend...
