Okay, so... if Electronic Arts got the rights to these songs for the Skate 2 soundtrack, couldn't they conceivably pass some of them over to Harmonix for use in Rock Band? I think so, it's the same kind of deal as with the Madden DLC that was announced many moons ago.

bolded are some that I know could work in the game... there are quite a few hip-hop tracks thrown in here so I know those wouldnt really work. Even if getting a song licensed for one game doesn't get it licensed for some other game... if a band is willing to license a track to one game it will probably be more open to the idea of licensing it to another game. Keep in mind though, that EA doesn't need access to the master tracks to pu the song in Skate 2. shucks.
