All Ive seen is people complaining about their instruments broken and stuff. Is everyone's instruments broken?
I really want to know about the drum kit, because I have my 2 GH guitars, but I will be pissed if my drum kit doesnt work.

I was worried because of the guitar 3 hour breakdown stories, but i had no problems before the patch, and now that it's patched i have no concerns. Everything works great. I could do with a little more responsive tilt sensor on the guitar though.

I was a bit nervous after some of things I read, but everything is working perfect, and I have given my instruments alot of stress.

Yeah when GH3 came out my guitar worked perfectly. I think we just get paranoid because people only talk about the negative and you see 10 posts saying my guitar is broken compared to maybe 1 saying my guitar works fine when it actually might be the opposite

My guitar worked fine....for a few hours. Then the down strum stated acting up. I am highly disappointed that this has happened. I held on to my hope after all that had been said pre-launch. But now I sit with Half Rock Band. Many seemed to have seen this coming...how come HMX did not?? Design flaw? factory issues? Not awesome. And I loved the feel of the strat otherwise.

I suffered a typical guitar breakdown after the first few hours.

Well, what I noticed when I opened my box was that the strum on my guitar was very loose and when I tried to plug it in the down strum wouldn't get recognized... I don't feel any "click" when I try to strum so... I think it's broken. when I Up strum I feel a click but not when I push down. when I started playing the game it wouldn't register..... so I'm going to send it back in.

I'm not entirely worried about my guitar breaking, after all. I have three other guitars. Thank you "OMG I NEED ANOTHER GUITAR SO THAT MY GIRLFRIEND CAN PLAY!!" and after we broke up I was like.. ooo wireless guitar. hehe.
So I have three back ups.

Everything but my red drum pad is working and working great...but we just press the O button on the drum pad and use the other pads normally haha, obviously that sucks but w/e, gotta make the best of ****ty situations...hopefully soon they can help us Canadian customers who went to the States early to get this and are facing hardware issues...

EXACTLY what he said.
Mine was the exact opposite. It didn't work at first and then after a few songs it's been great. It was the same with the GH3 controller so I didn't panic right away and gave it some time to wear in.

Thats weird.
I was just thinking that i was like a baseball glove and needs to be worn in. I remember taking GH3 home at midnight and after calibrating it, it was still "off". But over a day or two it was fine.
I failed "When You Were Young" within the first hour of playing Rock Band and almost overnight it works flawlessly.

Its just weird because everyone else has their guitar breaking after a couple hours of use and yours is getting better.

My lasted about 10 hours of fairly gentle play - I haven't tried the patch yet, though.

I weigh 110 pounds and annhilated my bass pedal within 40 songs on expert drums. also, my drumpads are pretty ****ty, but i've already sent off for a replacement kit/pedal.

Got the game, ROCKS, besides the broken guitar its amazing, but theres another problem. The yellow pad is making a scary noise. When i hit any other pad, it sounds solid, but when i hit the yellow, sounds like something is vibrating or rattling around. It works, but im afraid this may be a sign that it might stop working. Thoughts? Should i send it back?

15 hours of play, no issues except a bit of mic and drum fill lag

How hard are you stomping on that thing, and are you wearing shoes? I've stomped on it pretty hard, in socks, and was surprised at how sturdy it is.

I've notice a 50% failure rate on this thread alone. That has got to be the worst failure rate that I have ever seen!

First it was my drums, where the pedal didn't work at all from the minute I opened the box (the mini-jack plug doesn't make contact with the components inside the jack), then yesterday my guitar crapped out after 20 minutes of playing on Expert. Strum feels spongy now and it registers every strum (up or down) as double strums. I have RMA-ed both now and hopefully I will be a satisfied customer when its all said and done....except for the fleeting suspicion that I'll have to replace the drum pads as well because the green pad doesn't seem to register hits correctly. Ugh.

Everything works fine for me and it has all been used quite a bit.
I should state mine is dated October 15 and was not a pre-order.
