USA Today paper confirms new GHWT DLC

According to USA TODAY, on November 7th, Another Way to Die by Jack White and Alicia Keys will be released. Also on November 20th the Jimi Hendrix Pack (Little Wing, If 6 Was 9, and Fire) and The Raconteurs Pack (Salute Your Solution, Hold Up, and Consoler of the Lonely).

you sir, are a fool. alicia keys is a well respected artist, and these games are not simply meant as a platform for rock music. HMX has shown interest in bringing other genres that fit the band scheme to RB. not to mention that your point about the song not being rock means little in a game not titled "rock band".

that being said, I am a bit upset that activision is announcing DLC that will make me have to spread my weekly DLC allowance between two games.

And in terms of non-rock DLC, we DO have MC Frontalot and all.

About the Bond theme song DLC: This is likely because Activision has the rights to develop and publish video games based on the James Bond license through 2014. They're probably on very good terms with all the partners involved with the Bond franchise, and this is a good tie-in promotion for them.

Fun fact: EA, who distributes Rock Band titles, used to have those very rights until their term was over a year ago. This could very well have been a RB DLC song if EA still had the Bond video game rights. That's not to say it won't ever come, but it probably would have been a shoe-in in that other scenario.

(Slightly unrelated: I hope to god that I never see Guitar Hero in a Bond movie as product placement.)

Congratulations on being the first person I've seen in a really long time that shows a bit of sense. I'm still gonna pass on the album though. Also, with the Guitar Hero franchise getting REGULAR DLC, I'm not gonna have a lot of spare cash lying around anymore :p
