Taking Back Sunday
The Color Fred
Boys Like Girls

Its worth $2.99 for a 3-pack DL on Xbox Live.

I'd pay 5 bucks a song for a Dream Theater 3 Pack...so, $15 total. But, most of their songs are in the 7-9 min range, so if you're going by the minute, you're almost getting 2x the average song in length, so taking that into account...and the fact that I'm mildly to moderately obsessed with seeing them in RB.

OH ya but imagine if Harmonix sees that there is market for higher priced DLC for newer songs / newer bands, wouldn't you think they would look into it?

I would presume that newer songs cost more to license than older songs?

Say, if it was like a popular new band, I'd pay about $4.99.

If it were a great band and a great pack I would pay like 15$.

Something like a Led Zeppelin pack or Guns N Roses pack. If they got more true superbands that have amazing musicians at every instrument I would definately pay more. I would pay for Ozzy, Cream, Hendrix, Iron Maiden, and Judas Priest in addition to Guns N Roses/Led Zeppelin. If you are paying for songs that are great and really fun to play its worth the money.

for me, i wouldn't pay that much for those bands listed because i can't really relate to them, but for the ones i listed, i would tottaly pay $ for them.

I guess harmonix has to look at the fan base, if they see more money with newer pop punk, emo, power pop bands, im pretty sure they would lean towards that direction..

I've always wondered what age group has a ps3 xbox360 that RB is targeted for...

I would presume 14-25ish which most of them did not grow up with GnR or Ozzy, or Hendrix.

Idk when I think of Rock Bands I think of the classic rock bands. They defined what a rock band was. Also their songs are often much more complex and more challenging/fun to play than newer stuff. I think that introducing older bands to the new generations isnt a bad idea.

I kinda know those bands like Hendrix Lep Zepplin, Guns and roses becuase im 24 and my uncle listen to those songs. I remember November Rain from GnR and that song would be a awesome DLC for sure, but the 14-18 year olds wouldnt know who they are.

Im pretty sure HMX woudl make a killing..

THis micro transaction i think is going to make HMX rich.

Come to think about it, I think they are selling the special edition at a lost to make money on the DLC's.

This is a terrible list of bands. I'd pay that amount of money to anti buy them.

Vicarious (or The Pot or Jambi or any relatively complex / fast paced Tool song)


It'd be hard to resist buying it at any price lower than 50 bucks :(

I would want to pay at most $1 per song like iTunes, but if push came to shove I would spend $3-4 for a song I really liked.
