No Joe Satriani?

Hi,

I have to say, out of all the Guitar based Games, GH and Rock band, none of them that i can remember have had any Joe satriani songs, which i am kind of disappointed in, he is one of the best guitar rockers there is, and he has a decent amount of songs that have vocals, lifestyle, "I just wanna rock" (i guess, boring vocals, but, there are some really boring vocals in rock band anyways) I would love to see an entire album come out for Joe sometime soon, I mean looks like GH world tour has 1 song in there by him, i mean with somewhere around 7 Games combined Rock band and Guitar Hero should have had many more songs by him already (and i went to see him live a couple weeks ago, his bass lines and drum lines seem like they could be fun too)

any body else agree that Joe satriani should be in there?

(actually not even just satriani, what about Yngwie Malmsteem or Steve Vai? Paul Gilbert? there are plenty of guitar "gods" out there that have not been in a game yet)

Umm, GH3 released surfin with the alien as DLC and WT is gonna have satch boogie.

Eric Johnson would be another good one. Nothing at all for the vocalist to do, but would be damn fun for us guitarist!

I totally agree that there should be some of the "guitar gods" in rock band , I enjoy challenges and I would like there to be a song that i couldn't beat within a week

Satriani has stated he is working with both games. I don't have a link but I do remember reading somewhere that both games will have Satch Boogie. Hopefully we'll see it soon.
