I've been going by this nick on the internet since around 1996. As you might imagine, I received the same warning.

So, just for grins, I changed the character name to "Muffy". Guess what? Same warning.

Yet, on the band leaderboards, I see band names like "Testicular Sound Explosion". Heh.

Then, I renamed the character to something the game would accept without the warning. Guess how the leadboard lists my name? By my PSN account name, which contains the string "Muffster".

Ridiculous. Whoever is running the character name filter needs to lighten up.

Well I found that band name to be very offensive, sounds like you're making a naughty reference to those bubble gum cigarettes that could blow dust out the end when you blew on them (god I feel old). And that just made kids want to smoke because it was cool and tasted like cherrys :(

Thats funny because my daughter (7yrs old) and I created a band the other night and we chose the default band name. "Razorblade Party" was the band name it generated. She looked at me and repeated the band name in question. But lil puff, come on now :cool:
