Game freezing up?

Has anyone ran into this yet? It goes all snowy about halfway through a song and just stops!!! I looked at the disc and it's fine. Has anyone else encountered this? I've tried playing it several times now and it does the same thing!!!

I haven't had it get snowy on me but I have had the game freeze up at least 4 times in the past day. Three out of 4 times it froze during a song and it would freeze and run in a 3 second loop. The only way to get out of it is a reset.

I've got to say this is very frustrating. I'm not sure if it's the game (surface is clean) or my PS3. I need to find a way to fix this as it's barely playable at this point.

Yeah... mine won't play AT ALL. I have yet to make it through an entire song. I've checked all my other games and now THEY are doing the same thing!!! Is it my system then? (360)

Sounds like RROD time. I hope for your sake it's not. I had the game do it once, but I think it was a patch update. Basicly, I was disconnected from XBL, I went to reconnect a few minutes later, something patched, then the game froze. I restarted the console and things have run fine since.
