View Full Version : New Patch to fix guitar problems feedback Post.

I created this post for the new patch they just released for Rock Band, I want to hear other peoples feedback about the new patch and if they are still having problems. The patch was supposed to fix the Stratocaster guitar problems everyone is having. I tried the guitar after the patch and I still get the one strum double notes issue.

Did this somehow mess up the strumming on the GH LEs Paul guitars as well?

I tried a ton of times, and on either guitar I can not for the life of me nail that opening string of notes in Orange Crush. There's no way it should be that hard to do.

I really don't see how a software patch can fix a mechanical defect...

I could see it working if it was a sort of "band-aid" fix (no pun intended), i.e. if it double strums VERY FAST then it assumes you only meant to hit the strum once, but you are correct that it wouldn't improve the condition of the breaking guitar.

My thoughts exactly. I'd like to know that that's what the patch was supposed to fix.

When a patch is available through Xbox Live, you will receive a prompt to download the latest update. The current update will address the "double strum" issue that is occuring with some users.

Could be me imagination, but the patch seems to make strumming less reliabel for me.

I FCed that song with the Les Paul, so it might be another problem.
