Previously Purchased Songs Are Not Recognized As Having Been Purchased

This has been somewhat of a problem for me.
Previously purchased songs are not recognized as having been purchased.
I purchased many song tracks prior to the on-line store from within the game having been installed.
Now every song that I have purchased prior to that is not recognized as having been purchased.

I have a PS3 so I don't know if this is the same problem for 360 owners as well.

If I delete the the game data I don't know how to download the tracks again without having to pay again for them.

Any information would be appreciated.

You should still have a history of your downloads on the PS store. Try going online and clicking your name on the main screen to find out if the download history is there. I deleted my game data for Guitar Hero 3 and had purchased a few packs but just downloading them from the history works.
