Fun, classic list of songs.

Personally I think more modern versions of some classics would be better though. Just because they rock harder.

Like Wild Thing is a great song and all, but I think a cover version would be more fun to play.

Same with Born to be Wild.
May I also add to your list of classics I think would be cool are:
We Gotta Get Out of This Place - The Animals (An excellent cover version is done by Jello Biafra with D.O.A.)
I Put A Spell On You - Screamin' Jay Hawkins (Marilyn Manson, Creedence Clearwater Revival, versions)
Easy Livin' - Uriah Heep (covered many times as well)

Well I'm not knocking classic songs so much as I'm considering the fun factor of playing older songs vs more updated cover versions. Because, honestly some of those songs as great as they are, would just be way too boring in their original versions.

I mean honestly, how much fun would the original version of Wild Thing be to play in a game like this? Unless they give us enough room to tweak it and make it our own.

And I'm not talking about Queen or Rolling Stones or even The Who. Those should remain untainted and the originals would play just fine.

But I'm afraid that the original version of Born to be Wild by today's standards should be changed to Born to be Mild. *yawn*

I see what you mean about wild thing. The original would be quite boring. A cover might be better but I think an entirely different song (new or old) could be better to play.

I simply meant that an updated cover of the stones, queen, who, cream, etc. would just be upsetting.
