microphone voice doesnt come out on speaker?

this might be a dumb question but when i sing on the mic my voice doesnt come out on the speaker. is my mic faulty or is rockband just setup that way?

Its just set up that way. If you yell it will.

If your voice isn't coming out of the speaker you need to turn up the Mic Volume. You can do this in the pause menu, or in game by holding down the B button on the Xbox controller and using left and right on the D-pad to turn up and down the volume. Y adjusts master track vocal volume, and X adjusts the Mic sensitivity.
