Bass drum pedal broken

I was just playing rockband with friends when in the middle of a song (on mid, so i was not pounding on it) it just snapped in half.. This sucks cuz i really dunno what to do cuz i dunno if the waranty will cover it because i was steping on it... but then again how else am i supposed to play the thing.. Anyone know what i should do??

Of course the waranty covers it. Your not the only one this happened to.
