Leader of the Band: post complaints here...

This thread is for those who...like me...have encountered the hickup presented by the leader of the band feature locking world tour and making play less fun. It is a limiting feature that serves no positive purpose and i would like others to air their frustrations in one thread in order to draw attention to a feature that works like a bug. Perhaps Harmonix might patch this annoying glitch if enough of us complain. We have dropped enough money on this game so anyone chiding others for complaining about something we spent our hard-earned money on ($60-170) will be ignored. Please reply to this thread and be heard.

You mention a bug/glitch. I don't see one. I see a message that says the band leader isn't present so you can't continue the world tour. Sounds about right to me. Make a band for yourself and make a band to play with friends.

The issue isn't that we don't like the idea of not being able to progress without a Band Leader. The issue is that the Band Leader is locked into their particular instrument, and Band World Tour can't continue if that person doesn't want to play that instrument anymore.

The bigger issue is that characters are, for some silly reason, limited to one instrument. It is SUCH a hassle to re-make tattoos, re-earn money to purchase outfits, and do all sorts of other stuff to unlock extras for new personas when there should be ONE character who can switch instruments at will. Not to mention that each persona has to have a different name. Dammit, my name is Dave and I want my drummer persona, guitar persona and singer persona to be named Dave as well, but that is currently impossible.

So please Harmonix, get rid of this stupid limitation and consolidate things so we can just sign into our CHARACTERS and pick instruments later.
