Have you looked at these forums recently? Quite a few people have these problems.

I got a question for you.... Before your strumbar totally broke could u like feel it getting worse? Cause right now mine seems like i have to press harder than usual, and i'm not sure if it has to get broken in a little bit, or its just breaking on me =/. Its really too bad too, because the guitar had so much potential, only to be ruined by some retarted strumbar problem :(

well i was playing it for a while and i loved it the solo buttons are great the guitar feels great, and then i thought it felt like i had to push harder and harder like you said to get it to work, then it stopped working completely and after a while i could hear a rattling noise inside the guitar.

damn, that sucks... I say we make harmonix go back to the old strumbars... who cares if they click...i barely even noticed when i was playing, and it felt like u actually hit the notes.

yeah this is exactly what i thought i dont care if they click, my gh 2 strumbars are great they have lasted all this time. The only thing i hope is that the production date on my box say's oct 07 and i hope that maybe this is around the time the demo equipment was being made, and that maybe the replacement they are sending will be better, so im crossing my fingers

Seriously, who cares if they click, they work pretty damn good. They should go back to the old way.

Agreed. I'd rather have a strumbar that works for a few years than one that is "really quiet and neat for about 2 hours, but then, you need a new one".

Heres hoping the replacement guitar is better quality, because I like the the frets, the solo buttons and the effect switch, just not the strum bar.
