I have posted to the sticky with linking problems as have other XBOX 360 users. Can we get some feedback on what is getting resolved for the 360 users on the problems with account linking? It's been over a month and we get no response from HMX. Playstation users have the game for a week and they get takin care of A.S.A.P. BS!!!!!!!!!!!

Throw us a Bone HMX!!!!!!! We paid for the game, we pay for Xbox live subscriptions but we get no response from you on this issue?????

Are you even reading the linking problems sticky????

As a huge bunch of loyal customers at least an update is not to much to ask for, do you think?

Ban me, delete this post or whatever but I'm speaking out loud for all 360 users that are getting very unhappy that we are being put on the back burner and left in the dark.

Thank You,

I agree that at the very least an update from HMX is long overdue. Most people can only show patience for so long till it becomes a question of curiosity (are they even working on this), which then becomes anger.

Please HMX, could we at least get an update on this situation.

Yes, this has gotten extremely long in the tooth to say the least with no updates whatsoever. If it's Microsoft's problem, or a problem with the gamertag api as a whole then I think we could understand, but someone needs to let us know something.

It's obvious due to the developer's quickness to fix the ps3 problems that the ps3 issue was an easy fix, which would lead me to believe that there is actually a data linking problem between Microsoft and whatever api Harmonix is using to link back to Live. The big problem is at this point I don't care.

Earlier if someone had said "hey, here's the deal" it wouldn't be a problem, but now it's to the point where you've avoided the issue for so long that I doubt I'll ever deal with your merch site once it is working. The thought is good, but ultimately you're just hurting yourselves by not having this either up and going at launch, speaking to the masses that can't get their accounts linked, and basically ignoring the xbox live users that are having problems while you appear to spoon feed the ps3 users (case or not it appears that way due to your lack of input with the community regarding this issue).

I am just one person, what I think about your business practices won't affect your thought that much I'm sure, especially when it's one person on the internet compared to outside your building, but I've got a feeling I'm not completely alone in my thoughts on this issue, and I wholeheartedly believe it would be in Harmonix's best interests to speak to everyone regarding the problem or fix the issue quickly.

There is no excuse for a site launch to happen and the site not work at all, then the core base the site was built for at launch is still waiting for it to work properly a full month later.

Happy three week anniversary everyone!

It does seem quite strange that the PS3 issues were taken care of immediately. I assume that means they're having more problems with the 360 linking problem, but like you both said, an update would be nice. Otherwise we can't help but feel completely neglected. We don't even have any way of knowing that the problem is being worked on.

That is what bugs me about the lack of response from Harmonix. Yeah, not having the problem resolved is one thing, but ignoring the constant pleas for an update is very disrespectful.

Update please? Before we all loose interest in the Merch Booth? Or before 2009?

Yeah, this is taking a rediculously long ammount of time. I would figure that such a big issue would get quite a bit of attention cosidering that the faster they get it fixed, the sooner they start making money from the merch.

It will at least be fixed before christmas, as you know they'll sell alot around that time.

Good things come to those who wait. Yes it has been an ongoing issue but things happen when you deal with technology sometimes its the one in control. There is really no need to start ripping peoples heads off and chasing them through the village with torches and pitchforks.

Thank you for the reply Colby, it is much appreciated by all.

I don't think anyone is blaming HMX for the problem in any way, we just want to know that they're at least working on a solution. Generally in a business when you have customers, potential or otherwise, you keep them informed on things.

Like I said before I have a feeling this has nothing to do with HMX and everything to do with the way Live gamertags store data and link that data to other services, and I respect that being a problem and there being no easy solution, I just want to know that someone is looking into it and not sending us to an infinite thread to post on a problem that will never attempt to be rectified.

Thanks again for the update Colby!

So I did some digging and have an update. I'll spare you the details, and get on to the somewhat good news.

We have been working on this issue for a few weeks and THINK we have a solution on our end. Of course this, like everything else requires, a fair amount of testing to a) prove that it does in fact fix the problem and b) make sure we didn't break something else in the process.

I am hesitant to give a specific time frame, but you should expect something in a time period more closely resembling "days" than "weeks". I will post again if/when I have a clearer idea of exactly when you can look for this fix.

This is an extremely high priority for us and we appreciate your patience.

Just so everyone knows, PS3 issues aren't completely worked out yet. I'm still getting the same error about my PSN ID not having any Rock Band Data associated with it.
