RockBand Special Edition Bundle On Black Friday @ Walmart

Their is an add in our Walmart circular we got today that they will have RockBand Special Edition Bundles, I went through all of our ciruclar's today and Walmart is the only one advertising RockBand, for both XBox 360 & PS3, I'll be up at 4am (Late) but i'll take a shot at it, our Walmart opens at 5am.

I made the mistake of going to a wal mart on black firday one time... People were lining up at 3 in the morning, in the freezing rain.When the doors open fights broke out and people were being trampled. I couldn't believe it.

Inside the store... "this is madness!" "madness? THIS IS WAL MAAAART!"

If you're fast enough, you can pull it off. I was at the edge of the parking lot one year when Wal-Mart and made it to the electronics section before anybody else. Good luck!

I got my PS3 bundle at Walmart at around 2am last night. I had one of the employees look it up on the item locater, and there were about 30 of each floating around various Walmarts within 25 minutes of here. If they don't sell out too early, you can try to get them to look it up for you so that you can find out which store has it. Here are the UPC's, according to FYE's website:

Remember, the bundle is the Special Edition.

As an Associate at a small Wal-Mart Supercenter, do not be 100% sure your walmart has Positive on hands for any RB bundle, as the game came out 12AM Tuesday, several stores sold out and they dont have the quanity left for Black Friday Blitz. If the store did have quanity left, an email from Home Office(WM HQ) went out on wed. about 2PM CST requiring all stores to pull their remaining bundles from the shelves until 5AM Friday.

IN terms of quanity, my WM got about a 3:1 ration Xbox to PS3 bundles, with no future orders pending. So i would get to your walmart very early on Friday and ask if they even have bundles left for Blitz. It could save you an hour of poking around black shrink wrap trying to find where Rock Band is Located within the store.

you can also check the website for stock. it might not be as up to date as the clerk doing it for you in store, but obviously on thanksgiving in store is not an option.

Well I just got home from Black Friday shopping, only reason im home is I have to go to work today at 11. So I get to Walmart around 4:30am, i'm number 500 in line, maybe more, and I was w/ my grandmother and mother, and I was talking to some chicks in line (scoping out my competition as I call it) and they were only intrested in tool boxes, so I said to my mom, I dont stand a chance in getting another bundle today, but oh well I have one already, ill just walk in calmly, look around for it, no big deal, so we get into the store at about 5:15 am, and I make my way slowly to the electronics dept. and I turn the aisle to approach the electronics dept, and LIKE A MADMAN I SAW THE ROCKBAND BUNDLES, AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH MINE MINE MINE, I turned into a monster, the pile was diminishing before my eyes, they had at least 20 for each console, but I grabbed a spiffy mint condition box....My arms hurt from lugging it around the store for an hour, we didn't get a cart. Upon leaving, they were practically GONE!

I'm glad I work overnights at walmart and got it during my break at 12 on release :)

I got up at 4 and went in it seemed to be empty in walmart till i hit the electronics holy hell! But i got my RB SE ps3 ver so i'm happy i turned into survival mode once i had it tho

I also truged trough the steaming masses on Black Friday for this great game the Wal Mart was packed but after elbowsand a near miss clothesline(stupidold ladies!) I have the game. NEVER AGAIN ON BLACK FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!

The walmart i was in line in said they were goign to split there shipment for release and black friday. but there were so many of us they sold all of theirs

lol LeShrimp same here, i was at work at walmart during black friday sales, had to spend an hour just standing around guarding the merchandise so noone would touch it till 5am, but we had lots of bundles and they went fast...by the time i left at 6:30 they were all gone, and we had 2 big full pallets of em before 5am. Oh yeah, and it was a madhouse there till about 6 or so.
