Unable to join in on friends band...

I got a buddy in KY and I talked him into buying RB2 for the 360. I live in MI so the only chance to play with him is through LIVE so I thought this would be sick to play with him...but everytime I send him an invite it tells him that the invite is expired. So when he sends me one it is the same way...can anyone help???:confused:

There is a simulair problem with RB1, the improvement here is at least it tells you something. In RB1 some friends i cant play with. It doest say what is wrong, when u accept the invite, it does nothing, as if u declined the invite and just carrys on with whatever your doing. This is also a 2 way thing so others must have ecxperienced it.
