I like the way that the drums are turning out with the little fill sections throughout the song. The only thing that could be bad is the way they do the kick which is just the line, it seems like it could be hard to see it.

This is going to be one of the greatest games that ever hit consoles. It may even become hard to find if it becomes really popular this holiday season, so im slapping some money down for a preorder now. I have to have this game (lets hope the bundle can go a little lower then $200 too).

Why on Earth would ANYONE not buy this game? Seriously, it's just way to awesome. If the price tag is anything under $300, I'll be happy to pay, these guys (and girls) deserve allot for giving this game to us people.

Is there an option to keep the original vocals on then, even when signing? Or was the master dubbed over the top of the video because the sound was hideously distorted?

The trailer was made from an old build of the game quite some time ago for internal purposes- basically to get people working on the game excited. The song was one we have considered for the game but haven?t locked down, and you may have noticed that the trailer footage was made so long ago that the people in the video are playing old instruments and prototypes. I guess what I am saying is- this isn?t official and doesn?t really reflect the final game at all. We?ll be releasing a lot of info next week from much newer builds of the game with finalized songs.

I think I speak for just about everyone when I say if this is the prototype, then we all can't wait to see the improvements. It certainly can't get worse (Can it? :rolleyes: )

Regardless of the interface differences, it shows just how much fun this game can really be. The members of HMX looked like they were having a blast playing it, and we all enjoyed watching it.

If this song doesn't make the cut, then so be it. It did look like a blast and I hope it gets secured.

Since most of the info recently has been leaked from sources other then HMX, can you give the fans a clear date on when we can start to see stuff officially released?

Can you confirm if the current drums are configured as in the video or like in the GI magazine? The setup in the video looks much more realistic and fun to play than the straight horizontal line shown in the magazine! Since this video is apparently quite old I'm worried the GI drums are the current design. Please appease my worries! :)

Yeah I wonder that myself.. because now I'm thinking the singing part may actually be less like karaoke per se, and more like the rest of the instruments (playing the original track) but using your vocal range as the buttons.

Although, even though I do think that would work out better in the long run.. I still would like to see an option to use your voice as the whole track too.. less for online and more for when you've got a party kicking at your place and everyone wants a laugh

I think the best thing was the solo percentage. I don't care if this is an old build, that alone made the guitars greatness.

The drum UI looks nice, though I'm still a tad disappointed in the design. Then again, it is an older video, so I'll stray from my normal complaining ways.
