The band Rock Kills Kid is one of the few bands that possesses the elusive bass solo and maintains a strong guitar part. http://www.rockkillskid.com/ Songs of note would be Paralyzed and Midnight.

Anyone know any good indie bands that'd fit in well with RB?
Edit: Indie bands would go best with Rock Band, since they'd be cheap (Publicity is always nice, so they'd charge less. With a cheaper charge Harmonix and co. would earn their money back faster! Meaning more incentive to give players cheaper and free songs. It's a win/win.)
