Don't worry about the lesser difficulty in Rock Band. It has many difficulties.

This game is difficult in different ways than the Guitar Hero games. While those games would assault you with strings of notes all over the fret board at blazing speeds, Rock Band takes a different approach. This difficulty comes in the form of unresponsive drum pads, faulty strum bars, and input lag (apparent when singing and playing improvised drum fills).

Then you have the difficult band organization system. The character you create is tied to your 360 profile, and to the instrument you create it on. The band you create is tied to the character you used when you created it. That character becomes the "band leader" and you can't use the band without the same character on the same instrument under the same 360 profile.

there is definitely no reason to complain about difficulty - people were wrong as hell.

Sure, MOST of the guitar is fairly easy.

there are, however, a big handful of songs that are some of the hardest songs in the game.

add to that drums.. which most people (far less than guitar) will never get to expert let alone hard mode.

there's plenty of challenge.

and it's AMAZING.

just the search button or going back a couple of pages and seeing multiple threads about the same thing.

Would be nice to consolidate it all to a thread or two, but then people would just keep making new threads because they didn't use the search button or read back a couple of pages.
