because, there are only two reasons in which a person would not be anticipating this game.

1. They are a PS3 user and are angry that they cannot experience the awesome

2. They are under 17 and are not allowed to experience the awesomeness.

I hate Gears....I only own a 360 and im 23.

There was no story in the first. Sure it was pertty but that was about it. I really couldnt get into it. PLus I hate stupid multiplayer achievements.

If so... it runs better on the PS3 wanna know why? Ubisoft realizes that the PS3 is the more powerful system in other words PoP, Assassins Creed are being designed for the PS3 specifications.

And GOW is almost reaching the peak of the 360... and it uses the SAME engine that doesnt stress the PS3 on Unreal. Why would be jealous that of a system that has reached it's peak?

Oh FYI I have a 360.. and seriously if the damn thing doesn't process a gun firing it jumps and it sucks...

A couple things, while trying not to flame a console war any more than what's already been started, but Assassin's Creed was actually designed for the PS3 and they decided to make it multi-platform. And secondly, as a lifetime Sony console owner, I take offense to your using the acronmym GOW for Gears of War. That's like using MGS to describe "Mario's Golfing Superstars" (that game has to exist right?). GOW is exclusively limited to all things Kratos.

my 360 works great, I don't know about your's, and at least my 360 games don't require installation times and take up a couple gigs of memory each.

And as far as Gears goes, I'm stoked for it. My main reason? Co-op. In my opinion, every single game should have a co-op storyline over the internet and local.

I am sorry to hear that, My best friend who I have known for over 10 years is a drunk, it kinda caused him to be pulled closer to my family than his. There were times where I've wanted to beat the **** out of his father because of how he treated him.

However, that is no reason to hate me, Alcohol affects people differently, and the occasional drinking does not mean I am a "drunk." I know of many people who's lives have been ruined by alcohol, as I am a peer counselor as well. While you may disagree with something I do, that one part of me, in no way, shape or form, makes up who I am. I occasionally do drink, because it is fun to do at certain places such as parties etc, however, I have never touched drugs in my life, I am very good in school, and manage my relationships and responsibilities well.

Zel, you seem like a very opinionated person, from my time here on the forums, I have seen you attack multiple people for very small reasons, most of them not even saying anything towards you at all. Just wanted to let you know, sometimes you just have to let things go.

I started playing the first game, thought the graphics were meh compared to the hype, hated the characters, thought the story (to the extent there was one) was tired and cliched, wondered why everything was some shade of brown or grey, was glad it was only a free rental so I didn't waste any of my money on it, and have absolutely no desire to play a sequel to that game.

absolutely! i have my pre-order purchased and ready. I've already seen it at my friends house (no comment) and it is awesome. The biggest appeal of that game was the fast-paced adrenaline fueled co-op campaign. No other game has nailed co-op quite as well as GoW. Not to mention multi-player was intense. I am not a huge RPG fan, i don't like Halo, but i loved GoW.

As far as storyline, while it was a short one, it was not bad. Really if you look at video game storylines as the main reason you purchase a game, you will be hard pressed to find many with a decent storyline. There are some shining examples (Mass effect!!) but MOST games' storylines are pretty bad. FF (all of them)? horrid, convoluted, cheesy. MGS. . yawn. even Bioshock had a great storyline but it felt sort of weak at the end (and it was one of my favorite games of last year). However, if a game is FUN and engaging, you can usually overlook storyline issues, or at least be more forgiving.

Er... not to dump on your game thread, but you DO realize that not everyone liked Gears of War, right? I'm 23, and have a 360, but there's not a snowball's chance in hell I'll even rent GoW 2, because I hated GoW.
