Best Buy Return Policy

After all the issues i have had with my bad guitar, i think i will be retuning my rock band back to best buy.Does anyone know the return policy for open items such as rock band? This is really disappointing that you pay $170 for a game, where one of the main items breaks within a few hours of game play.

I understand your frustration and mine broke after about 4 hours and I bought it at best buy. I bought the 2 year warranty with it for 29.00 so I could exchange it there with no problems.

Well they arnt open today so I opened up the guitar and fixed it myself. Took 10 minutes and now it plays better than when it was new. However due to how its constructed I can see it breaking again in the future and I bet they redesign the strum.

I work at Best Buy. It's 30 days for anything except opened games, software and movies. We've allowed people to return Guitar Hero bundles with opened games, so I'm sure they'll let you return it.

You guys should really get the Product Replacement Plan. 2 years of coverage, they give you a brand new special edition bundle right off the shelf if anything happens to yours. No need to ship anything or wait and its longer than 60 days.

Yep, i am with you on that one. I think i will call best buy and make sure its ok to return the bundle for a full refund, before i try to package everything up. Do you think they check the box to make sure everything is there? I also have to come up with a reason on why i am returning the bundle, not because the guitar is a pos and broken. Any ideas or input?
