Has anyone who has a tracking # for a replacement instrument had their package actually start to move anywhere- i.e. the status is no longer just "billing information received"?

not me,but when you get a replacment do you have to pay for it?

Not here. I'm assuming first thing next week they'll be shipping out the replacements, so I'm adjusting my expectations to receiving a new guitar come Wednesday at the earliest, due to 2nd Day Air.

You should not be paying for anything unless you do not send back your defective guitar within 28 days if you do the advanced replacement option.

They cover shipping the new item out to you, and I believe they will include a pre-paid shipping label to send your defective item back.

Yes, they use 2nd day air (though if it takes them a week to get it to the carrier, it really doesn't matter).

I'll be interested in hearing if the replacement works any better than the orginal.

well im getting Rock Band for ps2.so your saying if the mic,guitar or drums break just send it back and they will send you back a new one?
