ES2 Online Connection Issue

I can't beleive this issue is still in the game!!!

I was at about song 60 in the ES2 and we had a power flicker.. It was just enough to cause my modem to reset. This meant my connection to the PSN disconnected and reconnect in the middle of a song. Note, I paused the song until I saw the PS3 reconnect to PSN and continue the song..

I never once saw RB2 complain about being disconnected.. So I play my 20-30 songs in which RB2 seemed to be working just fine.

I beat the ES2 and go to look at the leaderboard and it says I'm logged out?????? I couldn't get the game to reconnect, it forced me to exit completely out of the game and relaunch..

Now, it looks like ALL the songs I played after that glitch has not updated to the leaderboard causing my scores to be out of sync...

HMX, am I really going to have to replay all them songs to get my scores posted?

I wrote down all my scores on the songs when I was playing and compared them to the leaderboards.. I hadn't played the majority of those songs before, so most of them said I didn't have a scored. The others still have my lower old score..

Again, this happened with RB1 where it didn't updated 40 of the songs..

If RB thinks it has been disconnected, why in the world does it never check to see if the connection has been fixed?

Quick update:

It seems the scores are starting to update..

So now I'm even more confused.

Before I restarted RB2, every time I went to the leaderboard, it said that I can only look at the local scores because I'm not signed in.. But like I said earlier.. The only message I got during the ES2 was the PS3 telling me I disconnected from PSN and connected to PSN. During this reconnection, I was in the middle of a song and paused the song when it said I saw the PSN disconnect and resumed when it said I was connected again.. RB2 never once told me I was disconnected from the rockband server like what happened to me with RB1 during the ES1.. But when I was done with the ES2, RB2 still claimed I was not connected when I tried to look at the leaderboard and wouldn't connect no matter what I did..

So it's kind of strange that the leaderboard section claimed I wasn't connected to the rockband servers, but it still posted my scores during the setlist?



FYI: This is the second time RB2 got stuck saying I wasn't connected when trying to view the leaderboard.. THe first time I never saw the PSN connection disconnect.. I normally have a stable connection, it's just a transformer blew during my ES2 run causing the lights to flicker..
