Exactly how loud are the drums?

I've been playing RB guitar for a while now, and I was thinking that I should think about (finally) buying the drum set. But I have one question I'd like answered. How loud are the RB2 drums? My room is in between my parents room and my sister's room. If I was playing with my door shut, would they hear me in their rooms? Would it be heard throughout the house? How loud are they?

Also, how much quieter do the silencers make the drums? Do they work well?
