How easy is bringing your character over a friend's house? I haven't tried it yet. I have a 360 and I know some games make it a pain, if not completely impossible, to bring your created character over someones house and play them with your profile (Smackdown I'm looking at you). Has anyone given it a shot? You know, put their profile and save on a memory unit and loaded it from someone else's game? I want to know before I go through the trouble of lugging my instruments all the way to work :P

this is just a guess but i think ur best bet would be: putting ur gamertag on a mem card and bring it to ur friends 360. But there might be a problem, some games dont let u have 2 different gametags logged in to get the games savedata *cough*guitar hero 3*cough*. So if worst comes to worst then ur gonna have to create ur character on his profile or vise versa

Yes the game does let you sign in to 2 different profiles (gamertags if they are Xbox LIVE enabled). It actually makes you if you have at least 3 people.

Good. And once you sign in you can use the created players on that profile? Or is it only characters on the main profile's HDD/MU? And if so, can you form a band out of those characters, even though they aren't stored on that person's machine?

Your mem unit would have your profile plus all of your game data (hopefully) so your characters, bands, etc would be on your mem card with your profile.

So On a PS3 you just copy your GameData onto a thumdrive and bring that with you?

On a related note: If I was going over to someone else's place to play Rock Band and they didn't have any DLC, could I just bring my hard drive over, pop it into their 360, and be good to go?

Yes, you can do that but their Xbox must be on the Internet so you can login to your gamertag. If you don't login then you won't be able to play any of the DLC.

Correct. If you know your friend doesn't have Internet access for his Xbox, then you'll want to bring your entire Xbox and hard drive, not just the hard drive.
