Mine is this year because all of the previously released albums are still avaliable. I have a feeling that I might like next year even better :D.

'73 is the first year i thought of as well, but i'm pretty sure if i put some more thought into it i'd come up with 2000 or so (releases from godspeed you black emperor, mountain goats, and many others).

I can't choose just one year. There are too many good years for so many different genres that I couldn't narrow it down to just one.

This, with wide music tastes narrowing down a year is damn near impossibly

If I had to choose, it would be 1940 (when Frank Zappa was born, haha).

But seriously, it's impossible for me to choose. Even this year was great (lots of reunions, lots of new albums by great bands and lots of great albums by aforementioned reunited bands).

Whoa, based on the albums from 1973, that was a great year, I like/love/don't know but assuming I would like every artist on that list. Although I can't pick a year like others have said, too many great years with awesome highlights.

I can't pick a single year but I love 1973, 1986, 1998, 2001, and 2004.

69, 71 and 73 are my favourite, I'd probally have to pick 71 because of Who's Next, what ever Led Zeppelin's fourth album is and Deep Purple's Machine Head.

1989, for the purposes of Bleach, Skid Row, Dr. Feelgood and Pump.
