If you didn't read my last post, my girlfriend walked in in front of my xbox while I was playing and tripped over my cord, thus making the xbox fall and put a ring on the disc making it unplayable.

I took the game in the case that was in the bundle package, and did a no reciept exchange for a new one, I told the guy it was like that out of the box and it worked :).

I need to put caution tape around my xbox from now on! lol...

anyway, I'm back to rocking , wooooot

What a clumsy oaf. No offense... but how can you NOT notice someone drumming, singing or playing a guitar controller while the TV is spewing out music with power/video/audio cords in front of it.

So let me get this straight: because of a screw up on your part, you scammed Walmart out of a retail copy of the game? That same copy is going to be RMA'd. So you cost Walmart the full $60 that they can now not collect on that copy, and you cost EA/Harmonix the cost of a sold unit, and the additional cost of RMA/return?

Ethics anyone?

And you posted about the affair on here?

Which is worse? Being unethical or the shear brilliance of bragging about it on HMX's own forum?

You're missing the irony in thanking the selfishly profiting conglomerative beast that is Wal-Mart.

With the demographic they cater to, "Thank God for Wal-mart" is something most of the people who shop there are often heard to say.

Also frequently heard there is "where yall keepin the Jeff Gordon sleepin bags?"

I agree, the only people losing out because of this is HMX. Walmart will get reinbursed for the game I am sure... so HMX is the one that is taking the loss due to your clumsy girlfriend.
