If one or more of your drums is working intermittantly or not at all, try this out.
Pull the pad off the main unit by gently and evenly pulling straight up. The pad is being held by for rubber feet that WILL give if you pull hard (but gently) enough. You can also take the eraser end of a pencil (or any other instrument with a blunt end) and push the feet in from the underside as you pull out.
After you remove the pad, you will see a wire attached to the pad. At the end of the wire is a small jumper plug. This plug SHOULD be plugged into a small white jumper-style female plug in the center of the pad tray. Mine, however, was loose and almost completely disconnected. After plugging it back in and then re-seating the drum pad, my drum was fully and completely functional again!!
Some of these are probably being shipped loose, and the vibration from playing the drum is probably causing some of them to come slightly disconnected which explains why it's not registering intermittantly. It also explains why some people have luck by punching the center of the drum pad as it's probably pushing it back into the plug slightly.
Mine is 100% fully functional again! Let me know if it works for you.

Each pad is plugged in separately to the tray that they are sitting in. You wont see the plug until you pull the pad out...the lip and the cushioning foam along with the curvature of the bottom of the pad will block it. So if your green pad isn't working, pull the green pad out of the tray.
I'll post pictures soon.
