View Full Version : Anyone received replacement guitar yet?

My guitar is finally taking a dump after 24 hours of playtime...it's starting with the double strum issue, I'm sure downstrum will fail shortly...my question is that anyone has requested the replacement guitar, have you gotten it yet, and if so, does it work properly? I am debating if I should wait until they actually fix the problem as I'm assuming they are just shipping the guitars with the problems not fixed (hence mine took 24 hours of play time to start breaking) - but anyway, since we 60 days warranty, I wasn't sure if its worth waiting 15-30 days to request replacement...

I don't think anyone's replacement has shipped yet. They are using 2nd day air to send them though, so when they do ship they will get here quickly. This week is messed up because of thanksgiving (and EA probably still getting the hang of things on their end) so hopefully by Monday they will start shipping.

my guitars downstroke just bit the dust....i can play songs perfectly if i only strum up but thats a little bit hard on the tougher songs on hard and expert....my downstroke is doing the double strum thing too, i just sent in for a replacement and i received my RMA and UPS tracking number and it looks like the guitar is on its was out, so thats good news, i just hope this new one lasts longer than the 30 songs i got to play with the other one...

I got mine guitar DOA out of the box. No down strum. The tilt sensor is fubard too. I will be standing still and it will kick off with the wammy. Or when I want it to deply it wont. I freaking hate it. I RMAed it two hours after I got it. I hope I get a working unit ASAP.
major suckage.
should have waited I guess for rev 2.
