Ps3 won't recognize mroe then one mic

So I bought the full RB2 kit to go with my rb1 so I could get the new peripherals and a 2nd mic for doing "karaoke." Even though both mics work on their own, the ps3 can't seems to register that two mics are plugged in when you go to vocal duel.

Anyone else have this issue or know whats up. Is there a patch i need to D/L or something? I keep my machine constantly.

Others have reported this same problem, I don't know if anyone has been able to get the ps3 to recognize 2 mics.

Also I checked to make sure the ps3 wasnt using a mic as a chat device.

did you turn on 2 dualshock controllers?

its an error either in the PS3 or RB2 i actually made a thread about this...as of right now short of a patch, theres nothing you can do to fix it.

I have one dual shock controller and one regular, they were both on
