I just bought RB2 for the 360, got it home, played for about 2 days, and for some reason, my blue drum head makes more noise when I hit it than the others do. Is there a reason for this?

To my knowledge, all 4 drum pads are supposed to sound different when you hit them. It's by design, and probably done to help reinforce the feeling that you're actually playing the drums and not just banging away on a piece of plastic.

Thanks for the reply! The blue one is the only one that sounds very different, almost a vibrating sound to it. Reading from other places, I wonder if it may be cracked?

my blue sounds a bit different too, almost like it's harder than the others, but so far it's been working fine

My yellow started sounding louder...almost like hollow wood. Now when you feel the pad you can tell that the hard piece under the rubber is cracked and fragmented into several pieces. Still works just fine though. I've got a 2 year prp plan with future shop just in case...

That's exactly what mine sounds like. It seems harder than the others. Like I put a RB 1 drum head on. Though when I hit, it makes almost a vibrating sound. I felt the pad and it doesn't feel any different than the others, so I guess that's a good thing. Interesting though. Everything still works so I guess I just live with it.
