Sorry if this has been posted before I looked and searched and couldn't find a thread. I'm just curious what the average age of Rock Band players is.

most of the music in this game from the 70's & 80's

I don't think that's entirely accurate, is it?

i'm 28, which is old enough to notice that the majority of the music in this game is from the past 8 years.

Remember that 8-track player that was in the intro to VH-1's I Love the 70s? This one (http://ts2.images.live.com/images/thumbnail.aspx?q=2514211450421&id=798560fc80c3acd9f547bb7930f07825)? My parents used to have one of those.

my dad had one in his truck

My dad had an 8-track player in an old Cadillac he used to have, a 1976 Fleetwood Brougham d'Elegance. Twenty feet long, two and a half tons, a 500 cubic inch engine, a 25 gallon fuel tank, and a trunk that would make the TARDIS look like a handbag.

Man I miss that car.

Man I miss that car.

Big 'ol land barge.

My dads truck was a 76 F-100 4 wheel drive monstrosity, 38 inch tires, custom paint Red/w White and red pin-striping, with a CB and he had, With the words "Road Agent" ( His CB Handle )Pinstriped on the side next to the back wheel. We could hear him coming down the road a mile away, "Funky town" Blaring out the windows, and those 38's Humming on the Highway. Ah GOOD Memories. :)

OP yes there was another poll asking about the age but polls are fun. You get to vote or something. Good practice for the youngsters. I just made it over the hill and am on the downward ride. 36 and stopped counting. Yes eight tracks were cool. I remember my dad and uncles always playing the Commodores or Rolling Stones. We had an old Chevy van and my dad built a sweet bed in it. It was awesome. All carpeted, side windows, three on the tree, pearl blue paint, Saturday night drive in movies. Yea my brothers and I loved that van.

Wait till you're on the verge of 30.

But I will say that the most fun I had was between 19-25. So hope it's the same for you and you're just about to start the good stuff.

What are you talking about. You still get to look forward to Vegas. That first time you get to go legally. That is when the fun starts. Just remember if you think it is going so fast now then you better cherish every day you have cause it seems to get quicker every year.

Oh I know don't remind me. I remember the days of frolicking in the meadows next to the farm house. Drinking an ice cold lemonade and participating in ice cream socials. The nights were warm and nothing beat the heat like an luke cold sasparilla before heading down to the local cinema and watching the newest talkie.

Those were the days.

I've licked my share of peanut butter; I have been through college after all ;).

I'm 24, turning 25 on the fourteenth, and I like all kinds of music which derive from symphonic music (metal, rock, blues, jazz, etc.) from 1720s through 1880s and 1960s through today.
