Well, you can be an ass about what Zeleii said, but he never said it sucked, he said he didnt see the hype around it.

I enjoyed it for the time I played it.. But I don't see the hype around this and other shooters. I just don't.

You still play it when we ask sometimes. Its a great game, but its not as great as people act.

I had my on's and off's on the first gears. I just think EPIC games are just bum boys with microsoft now though only because the release only on 360 and PC. They should try releasing on PS3.

I don't even think they are releasing a PC Gears 2 for quite some time, maybe a PS3 Gears game would halt the Resistance 2>Gears 2 and vice versa threads just like Bioshock did.

I for one , while not quite a hater, never got into the first one. The fact that the cover was indestructible and that the enemy never rushed you out of your cover was pretty lame...and made for an easy beat.

The one thing I really loathed though, was when Fenix would stick his nasty, dirty finger in his ear to talk on his com-link and evertything would slow to a crawl while you listened to inane and pointless dialogue.

This is not a very productive thread, and has already led to more than its fair share of bickering. That being said, if someone is trolling any thread whatsoever (or if you feel they are), feel free to report them. Rumors about incorrect use of the report function being punished by electric shocks are mildly exaggerated.
