Is my Strat broke?

The Strat strum issue has been beat to death, but I still dont know if mine is truly broken or not. When I am going through the menus, I see the frequent double taps. Like when going down the setlist, it will skip 2-3 times. However, I never have a problem when im playing a song. I havnt had the same problems yet, like I was having on the demo unit, where a sustained note would be ruined because of the problem. I have played the Guitar ALOT since the release, and I would just like to know if it would be beneficial for me to send it in. I personally dont wanna deal with sending my guitar off every week or so, for a new one, only to have the same problems.

the strum switch is a worthless piece of dung. it is held in the center by two pieces of low density foam which will wear out within a day or so of playing.
