This is obviously a thread for what could be the final tour of an epic band. For anyone going to or having gone to a show on the tour, this is the place to post. That said, please keep the unnecessary posts to a minimum (I won't explain them, but everyone knows when they see one).

Now then, onto my story. I went and saw them live tonight. My ears are still ringing from what will probably be the best concert I will ever see. They were absolutely amazing from start to finish.

When I first got to Conseco Fieldhouse, I got to one of the many merchandise stands and got my tour shirt, a program, and a pair of glowing devil horns for fun. I then went in to watch what would turn out to be a great opening band. The Answer, known best for the song Never To Late, was opening. They played shockingly well and managed to capture that raw sound that everyone was wanting from the highlight band.

Then, the real fun started. A video of a train played, which then led to a train prop coming onto the stage and the band appearing. This would lead into the first song, Rock and Roll Train. This would be one of 5 Black Ice songs played. For the curious, the other 4 were Anything Goes, Big Jack, War Machine, and Black Ice.

The usual fair of AC/DC songs were shown, the blow up Rosie appeared during "Whole Lotta Rosie", the long guitar solo came in "Let There Be Rock". Angus proved he could still make that guitar sound pretty with "Thunderstruck". All went well. The only time anything could have went wrong was when the Rosie was blown up. The hand actually fell over Phil Rudd's (the drummer) kit, mainly covering symbols. Luckily, he wasn't playing them during this segment of the show. Brian Johnson sang probably his best live show heard by me. He really sounded good, especially on "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap". It seems in his older age he has become quite good at singing Bon Scott's songs. Also, Angus still did his usual strip tease, and hopped around the stage a lot, although not near as much as he used to.

They would finish the set with the usual final song, For Those About to Rock (We Salute You). The ending very well sums up the entire concert for me. The raw sound wanted live was created perfectly by the entire band. As the final thunder of the cannons and power chords came to an end and Brian Johnson said "We Salute You!", I came to realize that AC/DC had just given me the best concert I will ever attend. They came out and partied their hearts out (I bet those old boys are sleeping tight right now). They made my ears ring (and continue ringing) for hours. Basically, they came out and rocked, and for that, I salute them.

Awsome review. Thanks for that. Sadly - due to current circumstances, amongst other things - I'll be missing this tour, which is the first time I've missed them since 1983

Oh well, at least I got to see them in their prime, and I've got the memories - and the t-shirts to go with them.

I'm going November 13th to MSG to see them. Only reason we're going this far away is because my Dad is a diehard AC/DC fan.

Excited yes.
