I'd say it will have lefty flip. Guitar Hero has it so I see no reason why Rock Band wouldn't

No, it doesnt have lefty flip, the sound isnt stereo, the gfx are all in black and white and the game is only available on floppy disks.

lol @ WW

But yeah, also if you look at the prototype for the Fender guitar you'll see the frets are coloured both on the top and bottom... There'd be no point in that unless there was lefty flip.

So in conclusion go and pre-order the game RIGHT NOW!

well wildwalker you dont have to be a douche about it, i just wanted to know because thats all i can play on due to a handicap that i have. If your going to post ****** answers like that then dont bother. If i remember right GHII the demo (and loose talk on the tru game) did not have lefty flip since not alot of people played that way. I do thank the other two for polite answers.

That wasn't a douche answer, it was because you asked the worlds most obvious question.

GHII does have lefty flip, I can see why the demo might not have had it, but the full game has it, and with easier accessibility for turning it on and off.

what the hell, i just ask a simple question and everyone wants to be an ass. before i reserve a copy i wanted to make sure. This is not GH, and i just wanted to know, but you dicks have to act all high and mighty like you know EVERYTHING about the game. I see the type of people ill be playing online with now, hell most of you guys are 16 and below anyways. All i can say is if you have a stupid remark to say just say it somewhere else, because i just came here to get answers, and i thought i would get a mature response but i guess that dosent happen in this day and age with emo *****s like you guys, so screw off and have fun

The drumset should be easier to flip than the guitar, I think. You shouldn't have to change around the peripheral at all, as it is a symetrical shape. It'll just change the hi-hat to the blue (3rd) pad and the snare would be green (4th) pad. The red would be the ride, and yellow a tom. Plus the whole doubling up thing... But it'd work

Same as I would flip a screwdriver for left - handed use :D

Yeah, there will be lefty flip, but I still want to see pictures of your gruesome handicap.

I'm betting that the left hand is a stump with a bizarre, pointy, claw appendage on its end.

Hey, I just noticed something on this photo (http://ps3media.ign.com/ps3/image/article/801/801493/rock-band-20070704022636245.jpg) from the latest IGN preview. The drummer looks left handed to me... Most righties would naturally have the right stick on top.

I don't think that's necessarily true, buddy. The world's most obvious question in relation to this game would be something like "is this a game?"

the new video we all just saw confirms that lefy flip is an option when they pause the game

Why the hell is there even an argument about lefty flip on drums? What's next? Lefty flip on vocals?

You don't flip the drums, you go into the options and go to lefty flip. It will switch which drum pads do what and switch which ones you use for what type of sound, i.e. the snare and everything will switch sides. That's it. You'll have to live with the colors being wrong on the drums but you don't look down while you play anyway.

And like the other users said, it's lefty flip is pretty much confirmed to be in.

I find lefty flip pointless... and I'm left handed. =|

I just play right handed.. it's not hard.

Why would the colors be wrong? It would probably be just as easy to make it so the notes are mirrored and the colors stay in the same orientation, so all red notes become green, and the yellow notes be blue, and vice versa.
