View Full Version : Which songs would you like to play if a keyboard was added to Rock Band?

I saw a report yesterday that said the Beatles game might add a keyboard. Which makes sense since a lot of their stuff is piano based. If some kind of peripheral like this would be added to RB, which songs would you like to play?
Here are the few songs I can think off the top of my head. I'm sure I'm missing dozens. Please add yours.:)
Silverchair - Emotion Sickness

This. I'll totally also second Jump from Van Halen.
Also...
-Perfect Strangers by Deep Purple (Universal's disabled embedding of their Youtube Videos, so no dice.)
-The keyboard track added into Highway Star from Deep Purple. We were thinking you'd get to play the ridiculous keyboard solo on the guitar during pre-release, but were wrong.

Karn Evil 9 - Emerson Lake and Palmer
Burn - Deep Purple
Light My Fire - The Doors
Goodbye Stranger - SuperTramp
edit: Also, Roundabout - Yes
But you would have to also be able to play drums for Karn Evil 9, guitar for Burn, and bass for Roundabout...maybe the game could allow five, instruments, but only any combination of four at a time. Then we could play YYZ with four people...

I HIGHLY recommend you watch at least the second video, because regardless of how you feel about the song you have to agree that the video (which is, in fact, the official video) is just overflowing with win. They also just happen to be two of the best songs ever (in my opinion, of course).

So this is just a rumor? (http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5g9EF8pLF8poHdLjRZyEKGiPqwRiQD945HGSO0) Awww. :(
Game developers also plan to introduce a keyboard, which would be a first in the music game market.
If a Keyboard was added?
I think Pink Floyd would be the most obvious answer.

I'd also like to add that I think adding a keyboard would be completely and utterly anti-productive because it would eliminate many more songs than it would enable in future titles of Rock Band. Also, the screen is cluttered enough already...

And then the notes would come up and down.
