This is my setlist. I've spent a sufficient amount of time on it; moving stuff around, finding a few songs to even out the tiers, hearing the songs in order to see if it's good, etc. If you don't like it I can understand, but if so please give suggestions as to how I can make it better. Especially in terms of punk, considering I'm not too familiar with the genre and wouldn't know good punk songs to put in.

Oh, you were this close. But you had to kill it at the end. Why does everything that seems good always end in disappointment? CHANGE PARADISE CITY, DUDE. To Nice Boys, maybe? :D

1. It's a bit short. Rock Band 2 has 84, why would Rock Band 3 have even less?

2. Dr. Feelgood is already available through DLC, so that wouldn't be on it.

3. Paradise City as the last song? Really?

Also some repeats from Guitar Hero games that we don't need. Some listed are good though.

Where's London Calling?

Dr. Feelgood replaced by London Calling.

Quality over quantity I guess. :p

I'm willing to change Paradise City but I can't think of a more suitable song. It's challenging, non-heavy/thrash/black metal (which is naturally going to be the hardest in the game and too cliche to be the finale), and everybody knows it so I thought it would be a good choice.

Well, most popular songs don't involve massive solos. You're better off going for the gusto.

I really liked what you listed for the "impossible"... impossible or not, I do want most of that tier in RB.

I'd like to know your explanation for the following songs though:

Never Let You Go - Third Eye Blind
Pain - Jimmy Eat World
Squeeze Box - The Who
Old School Hollywood - System of a Down
Torture Me - Red Hot Chili Peppers
Land of Confusion - Disturbed

For those songs I feel like each band has a better known song if I remember right, and I was wondering why you opted for these songs over their more famous alternatives (that obviously would favor the vocalist). Not hating, just wondering.

For Land of Confusion and Torture Me, there were two reasons. 1, I personally like both of those songs from those two bands. And 2, they're more challenging than most songs by them. 10,000 Fists by Disturbed was almost my pick, but Land of Confusion is a more challenging song. Red Hot Chili Peppers has such a good choice of songs I couldn't begin to say what I would like to see in the game, but Torture Me is an all-around somewhat challenging song and would be fun to play, despite it not being well-known.

For Old School Hollywood, I didn't feel there was really a better choice. I almost picked Cigaro, but prefer Old School Hollywood even though it's easier. And Cigaro would be hard to get in the game since it has a lot of... unfavorable words to some.

Jimmy Eat World, Third Eye Blind, and The Who I don't know that much about and for them pretty much just picked songs I knew from them right off the bat. Squeeze Box I know is probably a terrible choice for The Who, but it is a pretty well-known song from them. It's the same with the other two bands, they're easy yet well-known songs.

Not bad choices, generally it seems like you opted for playability. I guess I might opt for Losing a Whole Year by 3rd Eye, just because it seems like a more up tempo song that would be more fun to play. Although I guess I wonder why you'd choose bands you don't know very well :-P
