Well, I went to my forum-mates and they said, quote: "Don't bother us, son, 'cause you're too young to vote."

I voted bright and early this morning... And now you've also had a republican answer your post, so that answers your other question too.

I don't agree in the Electoral College, I think popular vote should decide the President.
But I didn't vote. I couldn't honestly go in there and force myself to vote for either of them when neither stood out to me. I honestly did look at both candidates proposals yesterday and I agreed to 1 more Obama proposal than I did McCain, yet I agreed with McCain's proposal on taxes. So do I vote for someone who I agreed with one more proposal, or do I vote for someone because I agree with their tax proposals? I couldn't make up my mind.
Either way, I believe this country will be fine with the new President. Congrats to everyone that did vote.

I didn't vote, I didn't even bother to register. I don't like either candidates and I believe politics are too corrupt for me to believe "the good things" any of them have to offer. Sorry if it offends anyone.

This one part of the thread seems non-politically-charged enough to answer. My personal feeling is that I could care less about whether a particular tax proposal is going affect me by several hundred dollars a year. It seems that a good number of my friends focus on that as the most important part of the election. If my vote were for sale it would cost more than that. I'm far more interested in how the money's being spent. Or, preferably, not spent.
I voted bright and early.

Don't start this. Do not flame potential presidents, because you will get this thread locked.
I didn't vote, because I'm to young.
