Mic won't be detected (360)

Do you have a controller plugged in too? The controller is required to scroll through menus and sign-in to profiles.

I've answered this question more than any. The controller must be plugged in AND turned on. You use the A button to select the Mic on Sing Solo and MP.

I did, it says not detected, etc. Won't even let me in solo.

to clarify, when they say 'controller' they mean the standard 360 controller, not the mic. They both need to be connected.
