solid color notes at the end of songs????

What exactly are the long solid color notes at the end of a song which pop up for everyone in the band at one time. I understand that you just go crazy and hit the for alot of points, but sometimes we got the points and sometimes we didnt. i know you have to hit the notes at the end to get them also. maybe someone else could explain it better to me. thanks

every member of the band has to hit the few notes at the end. if one of them fails, everyone loses their bonus.

LOL Reading the manual may help you some, the long solid parts at ends of songs are freeplay areas for you to just go nuts on

If you have the RB controller you can go berserk and rack up points as long as you hit the last notes, but if you're controller is BROKEN and you \'re stuck using a GH3 controller you actually have to STRUM the notes, so you can only get as many points as you can strum... Which isn't a lot for me. Me and my only-strumming-down technique. :|
