mic must be broken....(360)

i plug my mic into the usb thing, and turned on my standard 360 controller and go to solo for vocalist, it says mic not detected, so i plug it into another usb slot and still says not detected, do you think my mic is broke, or am i just having a blonde moment?

turn it off, unplug everything, plug it back in, then turn it on again. hope that helps.

When you get to the Start screen, use the standard controller to click A or Start to get to the menu, not the guitar or drums.

I had this same problem my first day.

My mic is still in the bag. Nobody in my family can sing, and we know it... or we are just a bunch of cowards. :)

We thought so too at first but we pull it out for Nirvana, REM, and a couple other songs I know the words for. Even bought a mic stand.

thanks everyone for giving ideas but it still hasnt worked.... o well i guess ill just go out and buy a USB mic or send the mic back to EA. Thanks again though :)
