View Full Version : Drumming Problems

I'm having slight problems while drumming. I'm not sure if it's hardware related, or just related to how I'm playing, so I'm posting in this forum.
While I'm playing my multiplier goes down and I know I'm playing perfectly. It seems to happen more when I have to hit two notes at once, and when I'm playing a slower song (such as "Say it Ain't So"), but happens with single notes too.
I know I'm not hitting the bass pedal, and I'm not hitting notes that aren't there. I might be holding the drum sticks wrong, but I really don't think I am.
Anyone have any advice? Thanks. :)

You need to run a full manual calibration and make sure you pay close attention to get the audio sync and video sync down perfectly. Also turn off dolby digital in the options as this can introduce a slight lag.
I've experienced the phantom missed drum notes and seemingly perfect rhythm that is being translated into missed notes too, and a complete and careful calibration fixed it for me.
I actually thought my drums were broken for a little while until I did the calibration again.

also be careful that you aren't double hitting the pad because of the bounce. My dad kept doing that.
