View Full Version : Drumhead Cracked

So there I was a-rockin' away last night to Boston, and I noticed a dent in the yellow drumhead.

Upon further inspection, it appears that the plastic underneath the rubber coating on the drumhead cracked and broke inwards in about a 1.5" jagged round hole. It doesn't affect the way it plays or responds at all, but there is a visible divot in the top of the drumhead and I am sure banging on the broken edges of the hole will make it worse if not replaced. If I wanted to I could jam the stick right through the rubber cover because there is no plastic supporting it underneath anymore.

This game is fantastic, but you would really think it would be worth it to make the peripherals a little more sturdy. At least design something that is made to be banged on with sticks all day in such a manner that it wont break from said banging!

When my guitar downstrum broke (completely... wont register at all), I thought "Eh.. no big deal, I'll just play drums until they replace it." Now my drums are broke too and I'm stuck with a microphone. Should have just bought Karaoke Revolution (kidding, of course).
