I'm sorry, but Nickelback is one of the most atrocious "band's" to ever surface. The singers voice is like nails on a chalkboard to me, and that Rockstar song of their's seems to summarize why they're making music in the first place...

Not for the love of it, but for the cash and fame. In my opinion, not really how that should be going down.

Also, at least in my experience, the only people who really like Nickelback are ten year old boys.

Just pick one from each of the categories of Nickelback songs to make the masses happy. Since they all sound the same, it doesn't matter which song you choose from each category.
1) The Angry/Misogynistic songs (You know, the ones that show off how manly the band is, preferably with a reference to oral sex somewhere.)
2) The power ballads with the stupid lyrics (Like the one where they say "if everyone cares, then we'd see the day that nobody died." Really? Wow, Nickelback figured out the cure for death. Way to go. You guys are saints. Plus there's that awful song about a picture.)
3) The "introspective" songs about a bad childhood (Bad childhoods are nothing to make fun of, but there's a certain point where you start suffering from Jonathan Davis syndrome...you're forty years old and still whining about your daddy issues.)

I, being from Nickleback's home province of Alberta, would like to apologize on behalf of all Albertans for letting those terrible people escape. They detract from the image good Canadian bands like Sloan and The Arcade Fire.
