I don't necessarily think this is a stupid question... as far as i know based on what i've read, both systems are USB based, with really the only major difference being that the guitar for ps3 is wireless with a dongle.
Granted the drums do basically incorporate a controller into them, so that might be where the compatibility between platforms goes out the door. But in all likelyhood one would think the mic would work for sure (not that i expect anyone cares about that).

I doubt it. Notice the big huge playstation P on the controller portion of the drums?
That should suggest to you that the drum-sets were built with the basic electronic 'guts' of their controller counterparts.
In essence... 360 and PS3 controllers speak a different language (give off different signals for button presses) so a simple swap isn't possible unless you use a converter which will translate (interpret) those signals back and forth.
If a straight swap were possible then the wireless PS3 guitar would be usable (and available) on the 360. Its not... instead the Xbox360 version needs a USB hub (pretty lame!)
