Politics is one two topics (religion being the other) that are guaranteed to erupt into flame wars fast. That's just how it is, unfortunately people can't contain themselves when talking about this stuff.

I don't necessarily agree with the policy, but for better or worse, that is the policy, and it is enforced. The OP not bothering to pay attention (and then insulting Harmonix for the policy) is just poor behavior on his part.

Political discussions always ends in flaming on the RB forums. The no politics motto has mentioned time and time again but people continue to create political threads. (Despite the fact we have a sticky on the front page of the general section discussing this very policy!) Political threads will be repeatedly closed due to the no politics motto.
