Help with BTW

OK so heres my prob, my brother can barely play medium and its asking him to play hard...he can play Medium with like 70-90% range on songs, depending on difficulty.... i play Expert guitar......so??????????????? why does he have to play on hard if he cant? is there a way around this?

No way around it. Your options are stick him on Bass if he isn't and hope for the best, tell him to practice or continue going through the tour but you won't get fans. What I've noticed is a lot of things depend on stars, not fans.

I'm pretty sure this is how it works:

Think of stars as your band's popularity and how well-known you are. More stars means more popularity and therefore you'll get have access to more venues. The amount of fans you have just determines how many people would come to one of your shows, and therefore determines which of your open venues are available to you.

Pretty much, stars are for unlocking venues and fans determine how big a venue you can play in. You might have enough stars to unlock the big arenas but if you don't have enough fans to fill it up then you don't get to play there.

Yea, I was in the same predicament. I was playing drums on easy, and all of sudden we had to play a show where easy was grayed out. I am worried about progressing to hard eventually. However, I am shocked that I am able to play the drums on medium. I love this game.

My advice, keep retrying ! :-D

Edit: Also, I started the band, therefore the Leader. We can only play when someone plays on the drums. Bad choice. Shoulda made my girl with the guitar the leader.

I have a question: is the restriction of fans going to affect the acheivements? I.E. you can't get the "Big in..." achievements because you can't complete the bigger venues because you can't play the harder difficulties?
